The steps, in plain language

1. You reach out. Call, fill out a form or book online. Tell us what you’re after, even if it’s just “something to keep the dog in.”
2. Free estimate. We come to you with no dispatch fee, or quote by phone or email for simpler jobs. We look at your layout, slope, soil, trees and any old fence that needs to go.
3. Written quote. You get a clear quote with the material, height, style and gates spelled out. Take your time with it. We’d like you to be sure.
4. Paperwork. Once you approve, we apply for the township or borough fence permit where required, help with HOA approval and submit the PA One Call (811) request.
5. Utility marking. Pennsylvania requires the 811 request at least three business days before digging. Utility companies come out and mark their lines with paint or flags.
6. Materials arrive. We order your fence and schedule the install once everything’s in hand.
7. Install day. Most residential installs take about a day or two on site. We set posts, hang panels or rails, and install gates and hardware.
8. Walkthrough. We check every gate swing and latch with you, clean up and make sure you’re happy before we call it done.

What install day looks like at your house

Our crew arrives, confirms the layout with you and checks that the utility marks are in place. Then the digging starts. Post holes go below the frost line, which in southeast Pennsylvania is commonly around 30 to 36 inches, though local code has the final word. That depth keeps freeze-thaw winters from heaving posts out of line.

Next come rails, panels or pickets, then gates. Gates get extra attention because they’re the part you’ll use every day. We check that they swing freely, latch properly and clear the ground.

What you need to do

Honestly, not much. Approve the quote, share your HOA rules if you have them and make sure we can get into the yard. We handle the permit, the 811 call, the material order and the scheduling. If your property has a pool, keep in mind that Pennsylvania’s Uniform Construction Code requires pool barriers of at least 48 inches with self-closing, self-latching gates that open away from the pool, and the inspector has the final say. After the install

We offer and honor manufacturer warranty coverage on every fence we install. If something ever seems off, like a gate that starts to sag or a board that splits, call us.
